The Ironbound Community Corporation, New Jersey Environmental Justice Alliance, and EarthJustice are working together to address the harms and health hazards that incinerators pose to New Jersey’s Communities of Color and low-income communities, and to remove the unfair “clean energy” subsidies that these polluters get under New Jersey’s Renewable Portfolio Standard program.

Ironbound Community Corporation
Since 1969, the Ironbound Community Corporation (ICC) has been engaging and empowering communities in the Ironbound neighborhood of Newark, New Jersey to create a just, vibrant and sustainable community through activism and grassroots political movements. New Jersey Environmental Justice Alliance
Founded in 2002, the New Jersey Environmental Justice Alliance (NJEJA) is an alliance of New Jersey-based organizations and individuals working together to address a variety of environmental injustices in low income and Communities of Color throughout the state.
EarthJustice
Earthjustice, founded in 1971, is an environmental law nonprofit that wields the power of law and the strength of partnerships to protect people’s health, preserve places and wildlife, advance clean energy, and combat climate change. Earthjustice’s Community Partnerships Program works hand-in-hand with frontline communities fighting for a safe, just, and healthy environment.
